Bull moose here in New Brunswick can tip the scales at more than 1000 lbs. with very large antlers. We have some of the best callers who can bring this magnificent animal within 100 yards of your tree stand and make your hair stand on end at the same time. This makes for wonderful moose hunting!

BEAR HUNTING--

Our black bear can also be a real challenge. These bruins can weigh 500-600 lbs. and come within 20 yards of your stand and I'm sure your heart will be in your throat. Now that's bear hunting!

Bear Hunts
Spring Bear hunts : April 19th - June 26th.
Fall bow hunts Sept 14th - 26th.
Rifle hunts Oct 1st - November 7th.

"GREEN" Bear Hunts
Shoot your bear with a camera at Krumplehorn Lodge Outfitters. Baited Bears feed in as close as 25 yds (75 ft.) and now you "get the picture". Day events or overnight packages - includes meals, lodging and transportation to the site.

DEER HUNTING--

"Speaking of hunting." A buck that was shot by Byron Carr of Fredericton Junction, N.B. not far from our lodge scored 184. and held the New Brunswick record for 10 years in the Boone & Crockett record book. Bucks here in southern N.B. can go between 200-300 lbs. The deer hunting record at Krumplehorn is 265 lbs. dressed weight and scoring 136.5/8 (B & C). This monster was shot only 1/4 mile from the Lodge.
One thing that will make any sports-loving Dad proud is when a son follows in his footsteps. Here is a photo of my 2nd son Peter and his 1st buck. I guess the smiles say it all! Good going Peter.

Deer Hunts
Bow only: October 4th - November 23d.
Bow, Rifle or Muzzleloader: October 25th - November 20th.

BIRD HUNTING--

Upland game bird hunting in New Brunswick is one of the best. With great cover and food for the prestige ruffed grouse and the direct flight pattern for the migrating, agile woodcock that travel directly through the southern part of New Brunswick. Bring your own hunting dogs or hunt with our trained gun dogs, whatever you wish.

Bird Hunts
Woodcock: September 18th - October 30th.
Grouse & small game - October 1 - December 6th.
Waterfowl: October 1st - December 5th
2010 Rate: - $950.00 US for a 3 day 4 night hunt.
